Dermapen

What is Dermapen?

The Dermapen, which we use for the dermapen procedure, is a depth adjustable microneedling device. The device is in the form of a pen and the Dermapen needle tip, which makes the contact to the skin, is designed to be disposable and for a single-use only, therefore used individually. Every Dermapen tip is outfitted with coated-needles that allows us to create micro injuries to the epidermis (outer layer of skin) and dermis (the inner layer of skin) in in a vertical position and in a controlled manner. As a result, the micro injuries encourage the body’s innate ability to repair itself. These micro injuries heal after 15 minutes without leaving any traces. With dermapen procedure, the cells under the skin are stimulated, collagen and elastin production is increased and the skin regeneration process is started. In addition, when the dermapen treatment is combined with PRP and mesotherapy, the procedure increases the penetration of these solutions under the skin 200 times, through the opened micro-channels.
