What is Medical Skin Care?

Medical skin care is a treatment-oriented skin care performed with professional products, in clinical conditions and by experts, after the skin type and skin conditions of the person are analyzed. The most important point in treatment is to analyze the skin type and skin conditions of the person correctly. Skin types; It is divided into 5 categories as dry, normal, mixed, oily and sensitive. The skin conditions of the person; such as acne, pores, black and white dots, blemishes, dandruff and/or crusting, are evaluated with a detailed physical examination in terms of the presence of these signs, before the medical skin care treatment.

Medical skin care is done by following some steps. First of all, it is cleaned with a suitable cleanser to make it suitable for skin care. For dry, sensitive and normal skin types, creams with more moisturizing effect are preferred, and for mixed-oily skin types, gel cleansers are preferred. Then peeling is applied to purify the skin from dead cells. The type of peeling to be chosen (chemical, enzymatic) and its duration are completely determined by the skin type of the person, the degree of the skin condition and the reaction of the person’s skin during the treatment. This stage can last between 5-15 minutes. In the next step, masks are applied to the cleaned and purified skin with the help of massage and left on the skin for a while. Masks penetrating the deep layers of the skin provide revitalization, healing, moisturizing and a healthier appearance of the skin. At the last stage, the treatment is completed by applying the creams, serums and sunscreen selected according to the needs of the skin.

What are the Benefits of Medical Skin Care?

Environmental factors (air pollution, sun rays, smoking, malnutrition), stressful life, biological aging and hormonal disorders cause our skin to become dull and wear out. Periodic medical skin care allows the skin to be revitalized, cleaned and refreshed, and helps the skin to have a brighter and healthier appearance. In addition, while supporting the treatment of some skin diseases, it also provides a skin tightening and an even skin tone.

How Often Should Medical Skin Care Be Done?

We recommend an average of once a month for normal skin. However, in the presence of a skin condition such as acne and/or blemishes, the sessions can be started with 1-2 week intervals and then the frequency of application can be gradually reduced.

What Should Be Paid Attention to After the Medical Skin Care?

We recommend not to wash the skin on the same day. Since peels are applied to the skin during the stages of the procedure, the skin should be well moisturized and protected from the sun for the next few days.

What is the Difference Between the Medical Skin Care and the Daily Skin Care Routine?

Medical skin care is a long-lasting and stepwise care. Session duration is approximately 45-60 minutes. Before the procedure, skin analysis is done in detail and some products used during the procedure can only be applied by experts in the field. In addition, it is a care that is carried out in maximum hygiene conditions and in-depth with the use of personalized materials.

To obtain a healthy and well-groomed skin; We recommend that the person continue their daily skin care routine at home and have medical skin care periodically.
